If you came to enjoy the Old West vibes (be sure to check out the Palace Hotel where Doc Holiday and the Earp brothers used to get their whiskey)! The courthouse square is a visitor favorite with a robust schedule of free events hosted by the Prescott Chamber of Commerce.
While in the area, be sure to check out the Post Office building which won the Governor’s Award for Historic Preservation in 2022.
As you head down Cortez for lunch on the Raven Cafe’s roof deck. Be sure to check out Ogg Hogan’s for authentic Native American jewelry, Prescott’s charming independent book store the Peregrine Book Company, and musicians shouldn’t miss the curated selection of new and used equipment at Gray Dog Music. Grab a cup of coffee at Camp Grounds Coffee on the north end of Cortez at the Fairweather Social Club. Make your way to beloved Prescott El Gato Azul for dinner, or enjoy an alfresco meal at The Barley Hound.
